English as a Second Language Identification

The District will collect from parents/guardians a Home Language Survey to determine both student and parents’ language needs.  Each school in Bradley County has an assigned English Language Teacher.  This faculty member will utilize the ELPA21 Screener to assess eligibility for ESL services for students in grades K-12.  The ESL teacher can also arrange for your translation and interpretation needs.
