Safety and Security

Doors are locked during the school day for student safety. Please report to the main office if you need access to the school. All Bradley County Schools are smoke-free. No tobacco product of any kind will be allowed on campus at any time. Knives, guns, and other dangerous objects are not permitted on the campus or the buses (real or toy). Zero tolerance offenses include weapons and dangerous instruments, firearms, drugs, assault, and electronic threats (6.309). A student cannot make threats, and cannot commit battery against a school employee or school resource officer.  A student committing one of these offenses can be expelled for one calendar year, as well as referred for prosecution and rehabilitation.  Disciplinary sanctions will be consistent with local, state, and federal laws. Students who vandalize or destroy school property will be required to pay for any damages incurred. Any vehicle on school grounds is subject to search by school officials. The use or possession of drugs, alcohol or tobacco is strictly forbidden (6.307). The Bradley County Commission added that all county buildings will prohibit the use of e-cigarettes and vapors.  As such, these items will also be prohibited on campus.
