Taylor Elementary School, with the support of parents and community, will create individual student growth in leadership skills and subject-area content knowledge which results in academic achievement, preparedness for secondary school, and career/college readiness.

Beliefs:

• We believe that all children can learn.
• We believe that as an educational community, it is our job to inspire and teach students to be learners for life.
• We believe that as we prepare students to be leaders and responsible citizens, we must model and teach excellence in learning, friendship, and citizenship.
• We believe that the needs of all students are important. We understand and are respectful of the physical, social, environmental, emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs and/or strengths of every child.
• We believe that partnerships with the family and community are essential to the success of every student.
